# Delete vault

> Permanently deletes a service-account-owned vault.

`onePassword.deleteVault` permanently deletes a service-account-owned vault.

This action requires a service-account connection.

## Example

```ts automations/onepassword-delete-vault.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation, onSchedule } from "automate.ax"
import { onePassword } from "automate.ax/onepassword"

export default automation("Delete vault", () => {
  onSchedule({ schedule: "0 * * * *" })

  onePassword.deleteVault({ vaultId: "vault-id" })
})
```

## Inputs

Provide `vaultId`. 1Password limits deletion to vaults created by the service account. Every input accepts a compatible signal. Account-backed actions accept an optional second argument `{ account }` to select a named binding.

## Output

Returns an empty object after deletion.
