# Get group

> Retrieves a group and optionally its vault access entries.

`onePassword.getGroup` retrieves a group and optionally its vault access entries.

This action requires a service-account connection.

## Example

```ts automations/onepassword-get-group.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation, onSchedule } from "automate.ax"
import { onePassword } from "automate.ax/onepassword"

export default automation("Get group", () => {
  onSchedule({ schedule: "0 * * * *" })

  onePassword.getGroup({
    groupId: "group-id",
    parameters: { vaultPermissions: true },
  })
})
```

## Inputs

Provide `groupId`. Set `parameters.vaultPermissions` to include vault access. Every input accepts a compatible signal. Account-backed actions accept an optional second argument `{ account }` to select a named binding.

## Output

Returns the group. Group metadata is sensitive.
