# Get item share policy

> Retrieves the account policy governing sharing for one item.

`onePassword.getItemSharePolicy` retrieves the account policy governing sharing for one item.

This action requires a service-account connection.

## Example

```ts automations/onepassword-get-item-share-policy.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation, onSchedule } from "automate.ax"
import { onePassword } from "automate.ax/onepassword"

export default automation("Get item share policy", () => {
  onSchedule({ schedule: "0 * * * *" })

  onePassword.getItemSharePolicy({ itemId: "item-id", vaultId: "vault-id" })
})
```

## Inputs

Provide `itemId` and `vaultId`. Every input accepts a compatible signal. Account-backed actions accept an optional second argument `{ account }` to select a named binding.

## Output

Returns allowed sharing types, recipient types, expiry limits, view limits, and file policy.
