# Get base collaborators

> Read Airtable base metadata and explicit collaborators.

`airtable.getBaseCollaborators` returns a base's identity, workspace, effective permission, and explicit individual and group collaborators.

export default automation("Audit Airtable access", () => {
  const base = airtable.getBaseCollaborators({ baseId: "app123" })
  // Compare the Airtable collaborators with the base access rules.
})
```

`baseId` is required. Returns `createdTime: Date`, `id`, `name`, `workspaceId`, `permissionLevel`, and optional base/workspace collaborator groups. Requires both `schema.bases:read` and `workspacesAndBases:read`.
