# On table deleted

> Run when Airtable deletes a table.

`airtable.onTableDeleted` provides the deleted table's stable ID.

import { airtable } from "automate.ax/airtable"

export default automation("Alert on Airtable table deletion", () => {
  const event = airtable.onTableDeleted({ baseId: "app123" })
  // Remove state tied to the deleted Airtable table.
})
```

`baseId` is required; `account` defaults to the project binding. Airtable does not include the deleted schema, so preserve metadata before deletion when needed. Requires `webhook:manage` and `schema.bases:read`.
