# Get environment

> Gets one Claude Managed Agents environment.

`anthropic.getEnvironment` gets one Claude Managed Agents environment.

## Example

```ts automations/anthropic-get-environment.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation, onInvocation, withPrerequisites } from "automate.ax"
import { anthropic } from "automate.ax/anthropic"

export default automation("Get environment", () => {
  withPrerequisites(onInvocation(), () => {
    anthropic.getEnvironment({ environmentId: "environment-id" })
  })
})
```

## Inputs

Requires `environmentId`. Inputs use public camelCase names and accept signals.

## Output and behavior

Returns the environment, including resolved cloud configuration.

Anthropic requests time out before the action lease and provider mutations are not retried after an uncertain response unless stated otherwise.
