# Get deal

> Get one Apollo deal.

`apollo.getDeal` gets a deal by ID or exact name.

import { automation, onDashboardRun } from "automate.ax"
import { apollo } from "automate.ax/apollo"

export default automation("Get a deal", () => {
  onDashboardRun({ title: "Get a deal" })
  apollo.getDeal({ deal: "Acme expansion" })
})
```

`deal` accepts an ID, exact name, or `{ id }`. Exact-name lookup fails when no deal or multiple deals match. Returns an `ApolloDeal`.
