# Get email send status

> Get delivery state for an Apollo email.

`apollo.getEmailSendStatus` gets the asynchronous send state for one email.

import { automation, onDashboardRun } from "automate.ax"
import { apollo } from "automate.ax/apollo"

export default automation("Check email status", () => {
  onDashboardRun({ title: "Check email status" })
  apollo.getEmailSendStatus({ emailId: "66f1..." })
})
```

Returns the email `id`, `status`, provider `message`, and optional completion, failure, not-sent, and retry fields.
