# Get task

> Get one Apollo task by ID or exact title.

`getTask` resolves one task by stable ID, exact title, or `{ id }`.

import { automation, onHttpRequest } from "automate.ax"
import { getTask } from "automate.ax/apollo"

export default automation("Get an Apollo task", () => {
  onHttpRequest({ scope: "automation" })
  getTask({ task: { id: "task-id" } })
})
```

`task` is required and optional `account` selects the Apollo binding. Returns an
`ApolloTask` with stable IDs, type, status, priority, due time, title/note,
contact, creator and assignee metadata when supplied by Apollo.
