# Send email now

> Queue an Apollo email for immediate sending.

`apollo.sendEmailNow` queues a drafted, scheduled, or failed Apollo email for immediate sending.

`emailId` is required; `surface` is optional provider context. Returns the updated `ApolloEmail`. Sending is asynchronous, so use `apollo.getEmailSendStatus` to confirm delivery state.
