# Add task followers

> Add one or more followers to an Asana task.

`addTaskFollowers` subscribes users to task updates.

import { addTaskFollowers } from "automate.ax/asana"

export default automation("Follow Asana task", () => {
  onHttpRequest({ scope: "automation" })
  addTaskFollowers({ taskId: "task-gid", followerIds: ["me", "user-gid"] })
})
```

`taskId` and a non-empty `followerIds` array are required. IDs may include `"me"`. Optional `account` defaults to the project binding. Returns the refreshed `AsanaTask` with its complete `followers` array.
