# Delete attachment

> Permanently delete an Asana attachment.

`asana.deleteAttachment` permanently delete an Asana attachment.

import { automation, onDashboardRun } from "automate.ax"
import { asana } from "automate.ax/asana"

export default automation("Delete attachment", () => {
  onDashboardRun({ title: "Delete attachment" })
  asana.deleteAttachment({ attachmentId: "attachment-gid" })
})
```

Provide `attachmentId`. Optional second argument `{ account }` selects a named Asana binding.

Returns no value. Asana permanently removes the attachment.
