# Delete section

> Delete an Asana section without deleting its tasks.

`deleteSection` permanently removes project structure, while its tasks remain in Asana.

import { deleteSection } from "automate.ax/asana"

export default automation("Delete Asana section", () => {

`sectionId` is required; optional `account` defaults to the project binding. Returns `Signal<void>`.
