# Delete task comment

> Delete a task comment created by the connected Asana user.

`deleteTaskComment` deletes one editable comment story.

```ts automations/delete-asana-comment.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation, onHttpRequest } from "automate.ax"
import { deleteTaskComment } from "automate.ax/asana"
export default automation("Delete Asana comment", () => {
  onHttpRequest({ scope: "automation" })
  deleteTaskComment({ storyId: "story-gid" })
})
```

`storyId` is required; optional `account` defaults to the project binding. Returns `Signal<void>`. Asana rejects deletion of system stories and comments the connected user cannot delete.
