# Get job

> Get the state and created resource for an asynchronous Asana job.

`asana.getJob` get the state and created resource for an asynchronous Asana job.

import { automation, onDashboardRun } from "automate.ax"
import { asana } from "automate.ax/asana"

export default automation("Get job", () => {
  onDashboardRun({ title: "Get job" })
  asana.getJob({ jobId: "job-gid" })
})
```

Provide `jobId`. Optional second argument `{ account }` selects a named Asana binding.

Returns the job status plus `newTask` or `newProject` when the provider has created it.
