# Get project

> Get complete metadata for an Asana project.

`getProject` loads one project by GID.

```ts automations/get-asana-project.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation, onHttpRequest } from "automate.ax"
import { getProject } from "automate.ax/asana"
export default automation("Get Asana project", () => {
  onHttpRequest({ scope: "automation" })
  getProject({ projectId: "project-gid" })
})
```

`projectId` is required; optional `account` defaults to the project binding. Returns `Signal<AsanaProject>` with identity, descriptions, dates, archive/public state, color, default view, permalink, and optional team and workspace references.
