# List sections

> List sections in an Asana project in display order.

`listSections` discovers section GIDs for task placement and preserves project order.

import { listSections } from "automate.ax/asana"

  listSections({ projectId: "project-gid" })

```

`projectId` is required. `limit` is 1–100 and defaults to `100`; `offset` continues pagination; optional `account` defaults to the project binding.

Returns `Signal<{ sections: AsanaSection[]; pageInfo: { nextOffset?: string } }>`; each section includes its `id`, name/type, optional creation timestamp, and optional project reference.
