# Remove task from project

> Remove a task from an Asana project without deleting it.

`removeTaskFromProject` removes one project membership. The task and its other memberships remain.

import { removeTaskFromProject } from "automate.ax/asana"

```

`taskId` and `projectId` are required; optional `account` defaults to the project binding. Returns `Signal<void>`.
