# Update tag

> Update an Asana tag's name, color, or notes.

`asana.updateTag` update an Asana tag's name, color, or notes.

```ts automations/asana-update-tag.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation, onDashboardRun } from "automate.ax"
import { asana } from "automate.ax/asana"

export default automation("Update tag", () => {
  onDashboardRun({ title: "Update tag" })
  asana.updateTag({ tagId: "tag-gid", name: "Critical" })
})
```

Provide `tagId` and at least one of `name`, `color`, or `notes`. Set `color` to `null` to clear it. Optional second argument `{ account }` selects a named Asana binding.

Returns the updated tag.
