# On comment updated

> Runs when Asana changes a comment story.

`asana.onCommentUpdated` watches one Asana resource. Runs when Asana changes a comment story. The compact event identifies the story; call `getTask` or list stories when current surrounding state is needed.

Provide `resourceId`. Optional static `account` defaults to the project binding.

Returns a signal containing the affected story reference and the compact normalized webhook event. The event has `resourceType: "story"` and `action: "changed"`; field-specific triggers also narrow `event.change.field` and `event.change.action`. Call the corresponding get action when you need full current resource state.
