# On project added

> Runs when a project is added through the watched resource.

`asana.onProjectAdded` watches one Asana resource. Runs when a project is added through the watched resource.

  const change = asana.onProjectAdded({ resourceId: "project-gid" })
  // Add the Asana project to the portfolio dashboard.

Provide `resourceId`. Optional static `account` defaults to the project binding.

Returns a signal containing the affected project reference and the compact normalized webhook event. The event has `resourceType: "project"` and `action: "added"`; field-specific triggers also narrow `event.change.field` and `event.change.action`. Call the corresponding get action when you need full current resource state.
