# On task incomplete

> Fetches the current task and runs only when its completed value is false after the change.

`asana.onTaskIncomplete` watches one Asana resource. Fetches the current task and runs only when its `completed` value is `false` after the change.

```ts automations/asana-on-task-incomplete.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation } from "automate.ax"
import { asana } from "automate.ax/asana"
export default automation("On task incomplete", () => {
  const change = asana.onTaskIncomplete({ resourceId: "project-gid" })
  // Reopen downstream work for the incomplete Asana task.
})
```

Provide `resourceId`. Optional static `account` defaults to the project binding.

Returns a signal containing the current task and the compact normalized webhook event. The task has `completed: false`, and the event has `resourceType: "task"`, `action: "changed"`, and `change.field: "completed"`.
