# Get deployment

> Get one Automate.ax deployment.

`automate.getDeployment` gets one deployment by `deploymentId`.

```ts automations/get-deployment.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation } from "automate.ax"
import { automate } from "automate.ax/automate"

export default automation("Inspect deployment", () => {
  automate.getDeployment({ deploymentId: "dep_123" })
})
```

The result includes normalized status, authorization requirements, failure details, Git source metadata, and planned automations. The action requires `deployment:read`.
