# On email blocked

> Start an automation when Brevo blocks a transactional email.

`onBrevoEmailBlocked` emits `blocked` when Brevo does not attempt normal
delivery, commonly because of contact, sender, or policy state.

`account` is an optional static Brevo binding. Returns the common event shape
with `event: "blocked"`. Inspect `data` for Brevo's provider-native explanation
before changing blocklist or consent state.
