# On email deferred

> Start an automation when Brevo defers transactional email delivery.

`onBrevoEmailDeferred` emits `deferred` when delivery is postponed rather than
completed or permanently failed.

`account` is an optional static Brevo binding. Returns the common event shape
with `event: "deferred"`. A later delivery or bounce event may follow for the
same message; do not treat deferral alone as final failure.
