# On email marked as spam

> Start an automation when a recipient marks a Brevo transactional email as spam.

`onBrevoEmailMarkedAsSpam` emits `spam` complaints.

`account` is an optional static Brevo binding. Returns the common event shape
with `event: "spam"`. Treat complaints as a strong signal to stop inappropriate
mail and preserve consent; Brevo may also update account or contact sending
state.
