# On email opened

> Start an automation on first and subsequent Brevo transactional email opens.

`onBrevoEmailOpened` emits both `unique_opened` and `opened`, covering the first
tracked open and later opens.

`account` is an optional static Brevo binding. Returns the common event shape
with `event: "opened" | "unique_opened"`. Open tracking depends on a tracking
pixel and can be blocked, proxied, or preloaded by mail clients; do not use it as
proof that a person read the content.
