# On email soft bounced

> Start an automation when a Brevo transactional email temporarily bounces.

`onBrevoEmailSoftBounced` emits `soft_bounce` for temporary delivery problems,
such as a full mailbox or transient receiving-server failure.

```ts theme={null}
import { automation, log } from "automate.ax"
import { onBrevoEmailSoftBounced } from "automate.ax/brevo"
export default automation("Record temporary bounces", () => {
  const event = onBrevoEmailSoftBounced()
  log({ value: event.data })
})
```

`account` is an optional static Brevo binding. Returns the common event shape
with `event: "soft_bounce"`. Brevo can perform its own retry handling; inspect
provider-native `data` before scheduling an additional send that could consume
another email credit.
