# Create Browserbase agent

> Create a reusable browser agent definition.

`browserbase.createAgent` creates a reusable browser agent definition. Inputs accept literal values or compatible signals. An optional second argument `{ account }` selects a named Browserbase binding.

## Example

```ts theme={null}
import { automation, onInvocation } from "automate.ax"
import { browserbase } from "automate.ax/browserbase"
export default automation("Create Browserbase agent", () => {
  onInvocation()
  browserbase.createAgent({
    name: "Researcher",
    systemPrompt: "Cite primary sources.",
  })
})
```

## Inputs

| Input          | Type                   | Required | Default | Description                         |
| -------------- | ---------------------- | -------- | ------- | ----------------------------------- |
| `name`         | `string`               | Yes      | —       | Agent name, up to 255 characters.   |
| `systemPrompt` | `string`               | No       | None    | Instructions applied to each run.   |
| `resultSchema` | `Record<string, JSON>` | No       | None    | JSON Schema for structured results. |

## Output

Returns the agent ID, definition, and timestamps.

Creating an agent is not replay-safe.
