# Download Browserbase file

> Retrieve the binary content of one session download.

`browserbase.downloadFile` retrieves the binary content of one session download. Inputs accept literal values or compatible signals. An optional second argument `{ account }` selects a named Browserbase binding.

## Example

import { automation, onInvocation } from "automate.ax"
import { browserbase } from "automate.ax/browserbase"

export default automation("Download Browserbase file", () => {
  onInvocation()
  browserbase.downloadFile({ downloadId: "download-id" })
})
```

## Inputs

## Output

Returns a `Blob` containing the stored bytes.

Use `getDownload` when you also need the original filename or MIME type.
