# Get Browserbase certificate

> Read metadata for one uploaded TLS certificate.

`browserbase.getCertificate` reads metadata for one uploaded TLS certificate. Inputs accept literal values or compatible signals. An optional second argument `{ account }` selects a named Browserbase binding.

## Example

```ts theme={null}
import { automation, onInvocation } from "automate.ax"
import { browserbase } from "automate.ax/browserbase"
export default automation("Get Browserbase certificate", () => {
  onInvocation()
  browserbase.getCertificate({ certificateId: "certificate-id" })
})
```

## Inputs

| Input           | Type     | Required | Default | Description                 |
| --------------- | -------- | -------- | ------- | --------------------------- |
| `certificateId` | `string` | Yes      | —       | Browserbase certificate ID. |

## Output

Returns the certificate ID, project, and timestamps.

The API does not return the certificate bytes.
