# Get Browserbase function build

> Read lifecycle and output for one Function build.

`browserbase.getFunctionBuild` reads lifecycle and output for one Function build. Inputs accept literal values or compatible signals. An optional second argument `{ account }` selects a named Browserbase binding.

## Example

```ts theme={null}
import { automation, onInvocation } from "automate.ax"
import { browserbase } from "automate.ax/browserbase"
export default automation("Get Browserbase function build", () => {
  onInvocation()
  browserbase.getFunctionBuild({
    buildId: "00000000-0000-4000-8000-000000000001",
  })
})
```

## Inputs

| Input     | Type | Required | Default | Description        |
| --------- | ---- | -------- | ------- | ------------------ |
| `buildId` | UUID | Yes      | —       | Function build ID. |

## Output

Returns request entrypoint, status, timing, created functions, and failure cause.

Completed builds can create multiple named functions and versions.
