# Get Browserbase function

> Read one deployed Browserbase Function.

`browserbase.getFunction` reads one deployed Browserbase Function. Inputs accept literal values or compatible signals. An optional second argument `{ account }` selects a named Browserbase binding.

## Example

import { automation, onInvocation } from "automate.ax"
import { browserbase } from "automate.ax/browserbase"

export default automation("Get Browserbase function", () => {
  onInvocation()
  browserbase.getFunction({
    functionId: "00000000-0000-4000-8000-000000000001",
  })
})
```

## Inputs

## Output

Returns function identity, project, name, and timestamps.

Use a deployed function ID. A version ID or build ID won't work.
