# Stop Browserbase agent run

> Request a graceful stop for an in-progress agent run.

`browserbase.stopAgentRun` requests a graceful stop for an in-progress agent run. Inputs accept literal values or compatible signals. An optional second argument `{ account }` selects a named Browserbase binding.

## Example

```ts theme={null}
import { automation, onInvocation } from "automate.ax"
import { browserbase } from "automate.ax/browserbase"
export default automation("Stop Browserbase agent run", () => {
  onInvocation()
  browserbase.stopAgentRun({ runId: "run-id" })
})
```

## Inputs

| Input   | Type     | Required | Default | Description         |
| ------- | -------- | -------- | ------- | ------------------- |
| `runId` | `string` | Yes      | —       | In-progress run ID. |

## Output

Returns Browserbase's accepted run state.

Stopping a run is not replay-safe; poll `getAgentRun` for the terminal state.
