# Upload Browserbase certificate

> Upload a trusted TLS certificate for session proxy settings.

`browserbase.uploadCertificate` uploads a trusted TLS certificate for session proxy settings. Inputs accept literal values or compatible signals. An optional second argument `{ account }` selects a named Browserbase binding.

## Example

```ts theme={null}
import { automation, onInvocation } from "automate.ax"
import { browserbase } from "automate.ax/browserbase"
export default automation("Upload Browserbase certificate", () => {
  onInvocation()
  browserbase.uploadCertificate({
    file: new Blob(["-----BEGIN CERTIFICATE-----\n..."]),
    filename: "root.pem",
  })
})
```

## Inputs

| Input      | Type     | Required | Default | Description                                 |
| ---------- | -------- | -------- | ------- | ------------------------------------------- |
| `file`     | `Blob`   | Yes      | —       | Certificate bytes.                          |
| `filename` | `string` | Yes      | —       | Certificate filename, up to 255 characters. |

## Output

Returns the certificate ID, project, and timestamps.

Use the returned UUID under `proxySettings.caCertificates`. Uploads are not replay-safe.
