# Create team

> Creates a Cal.com team.

`calcom.createTeam` creates a Cal.com team.

## Input

Pass these fields:

## Output

The action removes the outer Cal.com status envelope. The result is either:

| Variant      | Result                                                                                                 |
| ------------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| Created team | The team object, including `id`, `name`, and organization settings.                                    |
| Pending team | `message`, `paymentLink`, and `pendingTeam` when the plan requires completing payment before creation. |

Cal.com enforces account role, plan, and availability requirements. Provider rejections surface as structured action failures with the HTTP status and any `Retry-After` delay.
