# Get default schedule

> Retrieves the connected user's default Cal.com schedule.

`calcom.getDefaultSchedule` retrieves the connected user's default Cal.com schedule.

```ts automations/get-default-schedule.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation, markSignificant } from "automate.ax"
import { calcom } from "automate.ax/calcom"
export default automation("Get default schedule", () => {
  markSignificant(calcom.getDefaultSchedule({}))
})
```

## Input

This action takes no input.

## Output

Returns the default schedule object, including its ID, name, time zone, availability, overrides, and default status. Returns `null` when the connected user has no default schedule.

Cal.com enforces account role, plan, and availability requirements. Provider rejections surface as structured action failures with the HTTP status and any `Retry-After` delay.
