# Create folder

> Creates a Folder or subfolder in a ClickUp Space.

`clickUp.createFolder` creates a Folder or subfolder in a ClickUp Space.

import { clickUp } from "automate.ax/clickup"

export default automation("Create folder", () => {
  onDashboardRun({ title: "Create folder" })
  clickUp.createFolder({

})
```

## Inputs

`spaceId` and non-empty `name`. `parentFolderId` creates a subfolder when provided. Every action accepts an optional static `account` binding.

## Output

Returns the created `ClickUpFolder`.
