# Update time entry

> Updates a completed ClickUp time entry.

`clickUp.updateTimeEntry` updates a completed ClickUp time entry.

## Inputs

`workspaceId`, `entryId`, and `tags`, plus any changed time-entry fields. Each tag requires `name`, `tagFg`, and `tagBg`. Provide `start` and `end` together. `tagAction` accepts `add`, `remove`, or `replace`. Every action accepts an optional static `account` binding.

## Output

Returns no value after ClickUp accepts the update.
