# Create comment

> Create a comment on a Close object.

`close.createComment` create a comment on a Close object.

```ts automations/close-create-comment.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation, onDashboardRun } from "automate.ax"
import { close } from "automate.ax/close"
export default automation("Create comment", () => {
  onDashboardRun({ title: "Create comment" })
  close.createComment({
    objectId: "acti_abc123",
    body: "<body><p>Ready for review.</p></body>",
  })
})
```

## Inputs

Provide the ID of an object that Close supports for comments, such as a note activity. Close determines which object types support comments and reuses the object's existing comment thread or creates one. The `body` must be Close rich text wrapped in `<body>...</body>`. Optional second argument `{ account }` selects a named Close binding.

## Output

Returns the created `CloseComment` and its `threadId`.
