# Delete email

> Delete a Close email activity.

`close.deleteEmail` permanently deletes an email activity.

import { close } from "automate.ax/close"

export default automation("Delete Close email", () => {
  onDashboardRun({ title: "Delete Close email" })
  close.deleteEmail({ emailId: "acti_abc123" })
})
```

Provide `emailId`; optional second argument `{ account }` selects a named Close binding. Returns `{ deleted: true, emailId }` after Close accepts the deletion.
