# Delete opportunity

> Permanently delete a Close opportunity.

`close.deleteOpportunity` permanently delete a Close opportunity.

import { close } from "automate.ax/close"

export default automation("Delete opportunity", () => {
  onDashboardRun({ title: "Delete opportunity" })
  close.deleteOpportunity({ opportunityId: "oppo_abc123" })
})
```

## Inputs

Provide the `opportunityId` to remove. Optional second argument `{ account }` selects a named Close binding.

## Output

Returns `{ deleted: true, opportunityId }` after Close accepts the permanent deletion.
