# Get lead

> Retrieve one Close lead by ID.

`close.getLead` retrieve one Close lead by ID.

export default automation("Get lead", () => {
  onDashboardRun({ title: "Get lead" })
  close.getLead({ leadId: "lead_abc123" })

## Inputs

Provide the stable Close `leadId`. Optional second argument `{ account }` selects a named Close binding.

## Output

Returns a `CloseLead` with status, addresses, custom fields, timestamps, and stable contact IDs.
