# Get SMS

> Get one Close SMS activity.

`close.getSms` retrieves an SMS activity by ID.

import { automation, onDashboardRun } from "automate.ax"
import { close } from "automate.ax/close"

export default automation("Get Close SMS", () => {
  onDashboardRun({ title: "Get Close SMS" })
  const sms = close.getSms({ smsId: "acti_abc123" })
  // Send the Close SMS message to the support inbox.
})
```

Provide `smsId`; optional second argument `{ account }` selects a named Close binding. Returns the `CloseSms` activity.
