# Update call

> Update a Close call activity.

`close.updateCall` updates a call logged outside Close's calling system.

  close.updateCall({

```

Provide `callId` and at least one mutable call field, such as notes, duration, outcome, recording, status, or owner. Close restricts updates to external call activities. Optional second argument `{ account }` selects a named binding. Returns the updated `CloseCall`.
