# Update email

> Update a Close email activity.

`close.updateEmail` updates a draft or logged Close email.

  onDashboardRun({ title: "Update Close email" })
  close.updateEmail({

Provide `emailId` and at least one documented mutable email field. You can update recipients, content, attachments, account, follow-up sequence fields, sender, template, status, or owner. Optional second argument `{ account }` selects a named binding. Returns the updated `CloseEmail`.
