# Update note

> Update a Close note activity.

`close.updateNote` update a Close note activity.

import { close } from "automate.ax/close"

export default automation("Update note", () => {
  onDashboardRun({ title: "Update note" })
  close.updateNote({
    noteId: "acti_abc123",
    note: "Budget and timeline confirmed.",
  })
})
```

## Inputs

Provide `noteId` and at least one mutable note field. Set nullable fields to `null` to clear them. Optional second argument `{ account }` selects a named Close binding.

## Output

Returns the updated `CloseNote`.
