# Update task

> Update or complete a Close task.

`close.updateTask` update or complete a Close task.

  onDashboardRun({ title: "Update task" })
  close.updateTask({ taskId: "task_abc123", isComplete: true })

```

## Inputs

Provide `taskId` and at least one of assignment, contact, date, due date, completion, dateless state, lead, priority, or text. Optional second argument `{ account }` selects a named Close binding.

## Output

Returns the updated `CloseTask`. Setting `isComplete` to `true` also produces the task-completed webhook event.
