# On Close comment updated

> Run when Close updates a comment.

`close.onCommentUpdated` starts an automation when a Close comment body changes or a user removes the comment. Close reports user removal as an update with `data.body` set to `null`; permanent deletion during comment-thread cleanup uses `close.onCommentDeleted` instead.

Optional static `account` selects a named binding. Returns the Close event envelope with the current comment snapshot in `data` and previous changed values in `previousData`. `data.body` is `null` for a removed comment.
