# On Close contact created

> Run when Close creates a contact.

`close.onContactCreated` run when Close creates a contact.

```ts automations/on-close-contact-created.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation } from "automate.ax"
import { close } from "automate.ax/close"
export default automation("On Close contact created", () => {
  const event = close.onContactCreated()
  // Queue the new Close contact for enrichment.
})
```

Optional static `account` selects a named Close binding; the project binding is the default. Automate.ax creates and maintains the Close webhook and verifies each delivery with Close's signing secret.

Returns a `CloseEvent` whose `data` is the created `CloseContact`. The contact's `leadId` identifies its parent lead. All semantic events preserve the shared [Close event envelope](/reference/integrations/close/triggers/on-close-event#trigger-data).
